Yesterday, one of the tech tipsters shared what is considered to be the specs of the upcoming Google's flagship chipset, Tensor G5.
In his post, the tipster who goes by "xvforeingn" shared details about cores and GPU used by Google for this upcoming chipset. The Google Tensor G5 will adopt a 1+5+2 core configuration with its prime core operating at up to 3.40 GHz. Those 5 mid-performance cores will be running at 2.86 GHz while the other 2 efficiency cores will be clocked at 2.44 GHz.
This chipset will come integrated with Power VR graphics. Tipster also added that Google won't be using a Cortex X925 core (formerly known as Cortex X5) as the prime core but instead, it will be sticking with a Cortex X4 core but with a higher frequency. The mid-performance and low-performance cores are highly likely to be Cortex A7x and A5x cores.
The Tensor G5 will power the Google Pixel 10 models (Google Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL) which are coming in 2H 2025.
